Install the App

When a consultant manager has added you as a consultant in the Flexime system, you will receive an SMS containing the information needed to get started: A link to the app on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, as well as a personal registration code that you use to to register in the App.

To get started, do the following steps:

  1. Follow the link in the SMS to the App Store or Play store, depending on the mobile's operating system.
  2. Install the Flexime app.
  3. Allow the app to use geo-data when the dialog box appears.
  4. Enter the personal registration code that was in the SMS. If you realize that the code is not valid, double check that you have not accidentally filled in a 4 instead of an A. Zero instead of O (as in Oskar) or similar.
  5. Start using the mobile app to record time/break. Please note that it is only possible to stamp when you are within the geographical area of the assignment.

    If you have any questions, contact your consultant manager, it is not possible to answer the SMS or call the number it was sent from.


Register time on the workplace

To check in/out on the workplace, press the button labled "Lägg till händelse" in the bottom of the App. You will then open a dialog page where you select what kind of activity you want to register. For checkin in, press "Stämpla in"


In order to be able to register an activity, it is required that you are within a geographical area with a customer where it is set that you should be able to register time, breaks or absences. It is therefore not possible to register an activity if you are no longer at the workplace or are not in the right place.


Register break

In addition to registering in/out at the workplace, it is also possible to register breaks. Please note that you must first be checked in at the workplace in order to be able to register a break. You click on "Lägg till händelse" just like with an in/out registration and select "Påbörja rast", to start the break. In the same way "Avsluta rast", to end it. If there is no option to register a break, that function is not activated at the customer you are at and you should be able to assume that there is no need to stamp a break with the customer.

Vi rekommenderar att se till att lämna en kommentar om du registrerar en aktivitet som avviker från det normala. T.ex. om du kom sent eller blivit ombedd att stanna kvar. Det går att lägga en kommentar på samtliga händelser som går att registrera. Kicka på fältet "Kommentar (valfritt)" så kommer du få upp tangentbordet på din telefon, och kan fylla i en kommentar.


We recommend making sure to leave a comment if you register an activity that deviates from the norm or your schedule. For example: if you arrived late or were asked to stay. It also helps to have a small reminder in case you and your employer have questions about your times at a later date. It is possible to add a comment to all events that can be registered. Click on the field "Kommentar (valfritt)" and you will get the keyboard on your phone, and you can fill in a comment.


Check out with absence

If it is allowed by your employer, it may be possible to check out a work shift and specify why you left early (absence). It can be e.g. if you are going to be off work for part of the day, if you have to go home because of a sick child or the like. 

If enabled, there will be an option to "Stämpla frånvaro ut" with Absence when you add an event via the "Lägg till händelse" button.


What absence types that can be selected here may vary depending on the client/location you work at. In this example, it is possible to choose a holiday as the reason why one stamps out earlier than usual from their work shift.


Overlapping geo-locations

If you work for a customer where there are several geographical areas or places to check in, you can choose location when you add an event. What you do then is click on the location under "Välj plats". If you are in an area where there are several different locations to choose from, they will appear here. Then click on the area you want to register an event on to select it.


Not within an geo-location

If you are not within a geo-are where you can report time using the Flexime app, the app will say "Ingen plats i närheten" under "Välj plats", when you are trying to register an event.



If you experience this, double check that you are in an area where you should be able to check in using the mobile app. If you know that you are within a geographical area where it should be possible to check in, you can try going into the settings in the app (click the gear wheel on the home screen) and try pressing "Hämta data". The app then updates its data, such as contains the geographical areas where you should be able to register time.


No permission to use geo-location

In order to use the mobile app to record time and events, location data must be allowed for the app. If it is not allowed, this notice will be displayed. You can then click "Tillåt plats" and a dialog to give the app permission should appear.


Change employer or switch between multiple

If you go into the settings of the app by clicking on the gear icon, you will be greeted by this view:

Here you can add and remove logins, as well as change which one should be active. To add another account with another employer who also uses Flexime, click "Lägg till konto". To select the account that should be active, click on the account listed under "Byt inlogg"

If you are no longer employed by an employer who used Flexime, you can delete that login by clicking on the icon that looks like a trash can, to the right of the login you want to delete.


Tips and tricks

  • If it is not possible to check in, even though you are within the geographical area. Try fetching area in settings, if it still doesn't work, restart the mobile app.
  • If the activity does not get a green check, but remains orange, it has not been sent to the Flexime system. The reason is usually that mobile data has run out or that there is no reception. It is possible to upload the stamps by connecting to a Wi-Fi and then opening the mobile app, in case the mobile data has run out.
  • Make sure to allow location services for the app. If this is disabled on the mobile phone, you may need to go into the settings on your mobile phone and allow location services for the Flexime app.
